Another very busy week for Orchard in the height of the festival season, running the Welsh Government presence at the world’s largest Celtic festival in Brittany, involvement in five stands at the National Eisteddfod, including the Welsh Government’s, and our first year as operator of the world famous Brecon Jazz festival (August 10-12). This is an interim year for the event, that features a sprinkling of star names such as Dionne Warwick, Jazz favourites like Roy Ayers, emerging and Welsh talent, Jazz Club nights, innovative collaborations and a party atmosphere returning to the streets of the beautiful Mid Wales town, including a Sax Machine collaboration with the Olympics that is inviting brass players to come down and make a big noise in the grounds of Christ College on Sunday at 4pm.
