Love Where You Live 2011

Love Where You Live 2011 is a free 3 day Environmental event held in Pontypridd’s Ynysangharad Park on the 26th, 27th and 28th of May. Orchard have been engaged by Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council’s Street Care Department to produce the event that will see over 3,000 primary school children attend on the 26th & 27th, before the event is opened up to the general public on Saturday 28th of May. Orchard have secured the actual Doctor Who Tardis to be on display during the event, as well as commissioning a 3 meter tall recycled Dalek, which will be filled up with aluminum cans by attending school children over the 3 days. Cardiff’s Techniquest will also be on site with their Planetarium and other interactive displays, as part of their 25th Anniversary celebrations, whilst Cardiff City FC and Pontypridd RFC will hold community coaching sessions as part of a packed physical activity programme.
