The brief

To source a city centre location in Amsterdam, close to the international airport, and create a conference program for a medical conference.

Key objectives

  • To source a 5-star hotel as a venue for a medical conference for over 250 delegates
  • Within a 6 week timescale!


We worked closely with the client and the client’s project management team to source a hotel that would facilitate their needs, as well as state of the art conference facilities, and deliver their conference in Amsterdam. Calling on our Amsterdam partners to assist in the venue finding, we not only found a first class hotel, but also sourced three dinner venues for evening social events as well - all located in the city centre and within walking distance of each other, thus negating the need for any internal transfers.

The main plenary itself included multiple workshops, satellite meetings, exhibitions and interactions spaces, all of which we accommodated within the hotel venue thanks to some ingenious room scheduling.

Our team were also onsite to create and manage all content for the main plenary sessions, and provide support for all breakout sessions.
